There is a "flames" add-on for swords in one of the drop-down menus. I can't remember which one, you'd have to dig for it--it's under "spells FX" I think. It took me a while to find it the other day. It may be in the weapons menu.
If you can't find it, using either the "glass" or "flame" coloring options will make the sword's blade look like it's illuminated, and magical.
