Inspired by a photograph I took. The photograph had nothing to do with anything except for the fact that it involved two radio towers. I wanted to put a dragon on the radio towers.
So I did.

fantasy-style dragons in a futuristic/modern setting has always been of great interest to me. For that reason, I just love this picture.
I will nitpick about some of the features present in this piece, though. You've got futuristic/neo-contemporary building designs, yet wooden electrical lines, cable-stayed trussed radio antennas, and bog-standard electric lamps on that highway sign in the bottom left corner. They're all done well and accurately, but they're not consistent with the style of building you have elsewhere in the background, and that bugged me once I noticed them.
That's about it, though, and the work is still wonderful. I'd love to see more scenes like this, especially in an active city, perhaps with some human-dragon interaction.
