I finished these two harnesses (the green and blue ones) in the 2 days before I took this photo. I had everything ready to pack up for Texas Furry Fiesta, and realized that the blue harness would never again be in my shop. So, rather than get an early start on the drive and have a relaxing evening, I decided to rush a pic. But not really rush, first I had to clean up the shop (no small task), neaten everything up, and also align all the cuffs on the rack. The pose was the result of several "nah, I don't like that one", all done with tripod and 10 second self timer. I do miss my canon 10s remote release, that thing was awesome. Self timer sucks.
The collars on the table hide some empty space in the rack, something that bothered me about the previous shop image (wow, that looks boring compared with the new photo)
I'd say this picture, in all, with cleanup and costuming, took me just under 2 hours to make. The image is going on my business cards, a banner for my dealer tables, and some handout postcards. I like it, but I am sure I will drive myself crazy with little details that bother me. It will do, until I get more leather working machines, or move to a new location. Like my craft, my shop is a work in progress, getting more complex every month.
