The year was 2024, World War III had caused world destruction, radiation has been spread all around. Radioactive creatures roamed around the deserts, stragglers were scavenging for supplies, even killing others out of desperation for weapons, ammo, food, and any other necessities they could get their dirty hands on.

Lazarus was alone, traversing his way through the unknown territories, avoiding anyone or anything that came in his path. He had stopped at a gas station, hoping to find any kind of supplies, mostly food or water. He was found in the supply room, held at gunpoint by a mysterious man, interrogated and searched until being taken by the other wolf’s side to be escorted to a safe haven.

The man was Major Akivia S. Wolf of D.A.R.K., who was set on finding any survivors and leading them to safety. As the two make their way, the younger wolf already strikes a conversation, wanting to connect with another after god knows how long of isolation and loneliness. If only either of them knew that this journey would bring them closer than any could have imagined.

This piece was commissioned as a belated birthday gift by someone very dear to me, someone who hold close to my heart. It is based on a storyline we have been doing for almost 4 years now.
