I get that impression because I believe she ends up being a full body cyborg.

Oh yeah. A few times over, if memory serves.

And then asimmortal bioroid

She lost eyes before that and they were replaced by natural-looking bionics. She doesn't loose horn,it always was... compact. (pretty much her first combat success was baed on fact she posed as an Earth pony)

She lost heart in that incident and recieved an Iron Man-style one, only working on Moon Stone. Which most of cartoonish fanart omits because it's problematic to draw.

Thanks I thought it helped give character to her, and if one didn't know the character's background it might explain why she has the prosthetics.

if i remember correctly, she lost her limbs in an epic battle against a villain on a beached battleship that said villain restored to... well, become a tyrant essentially, using the battleship guns as leverage. obviously she ended up winning, blowing up the villain and the battleship in the process but at the cost of her eyes and limbs which got replaced by cybernetics.

her story may be rough and not for the faint of heart but it doesn't lack in epicness and badassery.
