Apparently also pokemon is a thing? This game came out over here for my university reuion and my friend who i'd not seen for 10 months ditched us for most of the day because he was playing this game and was like "just another hour or 5" ¬_¬;

Seriously.. is that franchise flogging a dead horse being all "retro (when it's totally new, so not retro)" or are kids really buying this after watching the WHY-IS-THIS-STILL-ON-TV-IT-WAS-ON-HERE-WHEN-I-WAS-10 new (old, but not retro) tv series? I think the challenge now is not so much to catch them all but to remember the names of at least half of them - seriously how many are there now? 400?

Yeah me too... i briefly cared when they introduced the new continent, and then i realised i actually totally didn't care anymore. I had the Trading card game cards for a while, still do actually, i found them when i moved, and was like "aww these were cool?" and realised i couldn't remember at all what the appeal was supposed to be.

You know what's funny? They stopped using the motto
'Gotta catch them all!' when ruby was released.
