"You look rather simple out today, my lady" Horus said, sitting by his highly decorated table of oak as Katarina stepped inside.
"Good that you mention it, Horus. It was my intention" she said, walking around the room while tapping each of the books she can reach in the small library.
"Indeed. If it weren't for the gold, I could've mistaken you for a servant" Horus continued, putting on his glasses while reading a few pages of fresh parchment. Katarina walked up to his table.
"The harvest of the farmers are going badly, I have heard" he then said, looking up on her. "I assume that is why you are visiting old Horus?" Katarina nodded.
"Yes. Yes it is" she said before taking the hospitality to sit on Horus' table. Horus pulled back slightly, giving Katarina more room of the yet large table. "How is the castle's food stock like? You got an eye on everything" she asked him, tilting her head slightly while fiddling with her sapphire like necklace.
"It it decent, my lady" he said, returning to the parchements. "We will manage a bad harvest, I believe. So no need to worry" continued Horus. The nearby candles gave the parchments a orange tone.
"Good! Then we can return some of the food back to the peasants" Katarina said while standing up. Horus put down his parchments and looked up at her with a puzzled look.
"...What?" he asked her.
"Like you said, the harvest is going badly. We don't want the workers to starve, do we?" she replied.
"What about us, my lady?" Horus asked her.
"We will survive with one less meal a day, I am sure, dear Horus" she answered.
"So I take it you'll arrange everything?" she continued, walking to the archway that continued into the castle.
"If you wish so, I will, my lady" Horus replied politely, although still looking after her with a somewhat confused look.
