Hey, remember that "Moushley" meme that was making the rounds earlier this year? Hah, hard to believe that all started simply because someone decided to draw Ashley Graham as a (tiny) anthropomorphic mouse and made a few funny doodles of her. Well, what if I told you I actually attempted to participate in that meme and tried my own hand at drawing her?

I finished this sketch back in mid-May, but by that point the meme had long since come and gone, and my work situation (read: the new district manager found out about my... morale exercises, and being the self-important micromanaging little bean counter that he is, cracked down on them hard among and did some restructuring that has turned my job into a living hell) had crippled my morale enough that I didn't really feel compelled to post it. Thus, I sort of forgot about it until recently when the Separate Ways DLC for the RE4 remake came out (great game, BTW), driving me to finally make the needed tweaks and post it online. I mean, it's far too late for the thing to actually matter anymore, but... at least I drew something, right?

Not a lot else to say about this one, other than the crackdowns and policy shifts at work made it difficult to complete... and things show no signs of easing up, only worsening, so odds of me being able to do more of these pen sketches at this point is practically nil, despite my desires to continue the series. Sorry I had to end things on such a plain note with this particular pen sketch - especially since I finally got ahold of the fabled brown inks I've been longing so long for earlier this year and even managed to snag a white marker prior to the crackdowns! At least I got to use them a little bit before corporate ruined everything, as they always do...

Part of my "Day Job Doodle" series and, thanks to my current work situation, will very likely be the last in said series. This was a little project I started years ago in which I would use the quieter moments of my day job to make sketches using whatever on-site materials I could get ahold of. I hope those of you who've been following me enjoyed this series as much as I enjoyed drawing a lot of these things. It was a great morale booster for me, and perhaps one day I'll get the chance to resume it or a similar series of sketches to share with everyone.
