I had been kind of wanting to do some Tiny Toons fanart, then this idea of both Shirleys meeting on the astral plane came to mind. Trying to come up with dialog that was pseudo spiritual but in Valley girl speak and modern hippy nonsense was interesting.

Since they converse as if they are different characters/different incarnations, it would follow in this cannon that the Buster and Babs (no relation) of Tiny Toon Adventures are different characters/different incarnations than the ones in Tiny Toon Looniversity.
To put it succinctly, the former are Sonny and Cher, the latter are Donny and Marie.

After watching Tiny Toons Looniversity, while I have nothing against the original Valley Girl Shirley, I actually like the modern hippie version with eyeglasses way more. Without that Valley Girl accent, the TTL Shirley way less annoying than the TTA Shirley, and those glasses and earrings really compliment her looks.
