I'm actually glad to hear that. I never really understood this whole WoW fever. MMORPGs are fun every now and then, but in a game environment rp always feels kinda restricted. =)

I agree, I've tried the WoW game thru a friend and found it restricted. I tried a RP group an all anyone wanted to do was quest for stuff.
There was no real 'Role Playing' at all.
With people in a room, you sort of have to think out how your character would act, describe him.. or if lucky.. have a pic.. an advantage you must enjoy ;)
But I find it more fun and it gives me a chance to be more creative.

The cart's a little bit scetchy. When I drew the picture it was the last thing I added so it's not very accurate... But since she's a gypsy there has to be a cart. ^^;;

SO beautiful. lol, I love that you gave her a little gypsy caravan.. so cute. I actually saw one of those "traveling houses" from the 1800's at a desert museum. They're so cramped, but look so cozy. I like the tree growing on the rocks too.. looks awesome.

I thought she simply had to have a caravan so I gave her one, even though it ended up looking a bit scetchy. =)

I've never seen an authentic gypsy wagon, but I recall seeing some in movies and old fantasy games. Of course that's not even half as good as the real thing.

There's something to be said for the darker forested type of background. The effect works quite well in this picture so that you can see the shineys over her head. Its a good picture not only for its green look but as a good reference pic for your fursona.

I tried to play around with the greens to create an illusion of depth. I dunno if it works, but at least I had fun. =)

But the pattern of the tree trunk doesn't seem to be in balance with the rest of the drawing that has this inked look to it ... (or is it ink? or pencil?)
Nothing to complain about the colouring, skillfully done and nice warm palette overall.

I kinda like colouring stuff in comic book style. At least that's what I often try to do.

The tree's all pencil as the rest of the pic. I never really know in advance how my stuff will come out... Maybe I overdid the lines of the tree. It was so fun to draw I got carried away. ^^;;

You have a good grasp of poses... and the ability to draw them :P. This looks very difficult.

Anyway, as wrong as this Westernised view of gypsies may be, aren't they supposed to be kind of mystical people? I think this image represents that idea beautifully.

I really love the background. It's been very thought out. From the two logs beside the fire, I'd guess she has company... somewhere :P Maybe that handsome wolf pirate from before?

The bark detail is just fantastic and really helps to seperate the foreground from the background, and depending on your point of view on insane amounts of detail, either really fun or really painstaking to do :).

I like the wagon design as well, and the random points of light add to the mystical aura.
