This is our Lancer group, as run by the lovely Fringecrow/Fringedog, our GM.
On the left we have Ulfra Wolfe, a cosmopolitan (spacefaring) seven foot tall wolf morph known for her ADHD and her matronly manner. Despite her terrible navigation skills, she is the party face (along with Stef) and also nominally leads the team, even though Keyah leads in combat. Long time friend of Keyah's, even if sometimes some sparks fly. Ulfra used to be human but had herself modified into a 7 foot tall wolf during her time on furry scum barges, travelling the universe. Now she works as a Union peacekeeper auxiliary, like the rest of us.
Second from the left we have Stef Primlune au Granciel, a nonbinary nobleman from a world of genetically modified furries who desired to distance themselves from the human norm (much like the Seeder did with Raemou). The highminded ideals of their people led to a civil war, just as it did on Keyah's world, so it's no wonder they get along. Prim, proper, dignified, and always calm, Stef is a perpetual voice of reason and peace and is often willing to extend an open palm to those we meet, making him perhaps the best equipped of the group to be a peacekeeper. Keyah and Stef are cuddle buddies, even though their relationship is the same as any relationship a tsundere gets into. Slap, slap, kiss!
Third from the left is Keyah of Raemou. You know her already if you follow my gallery, but the short version: She was born into utopia on a world full of desert furries, created by the Seeder, a brilliant biogeneticist. However, rather than being able to benefit from that world, she was born to some of the most abusive parents on it - because Christians, and particularly the evangelical ones, are still a thing on Raemou, somehow. Keyah's creche was so abusive the government removed it from existence, which is why she does not have a surname. She is neurologically spicy and also dealing with an untreated trauma split that gives her dissociative identity disorder. Her child personality, Aubrey, causes all sorts of trouble. She also killed her mate in combat. So yeah. A tiny, five foot pile of trauma.
Finally we have Maxine Walker, the artillery and NHP specialist of the party. With her NHP, Blu, who is only slightly more sane than she is, Maxine is a primary source of wacky antics. Being an illusionist who uses the tricks of technology to appear differently to others, and also rarely ever taking off her helmet, she has a habit of appearing to float off the ground to amuse and delight (read: scare the hell out of) people. The question of what wacky thing Maxine is going to say and do next is constant during the game, and she frequently ends up in loud, screaming arguments with Keyah about the facts of reality that people overhear and then go "Whaaaa?" about. Why are they talking about firing children's clothing out of a howitzer again...?? (Fuga reference) Most of her body is synthetic and sculpted to resemble a wolf, making the party two foxes and two wolves. How canine.
All of us have lots of fun together in the Lancer module that Fringedog is running for us, No Room for a Wallflower. Lancer is basically an anime RPG with western aesthetics, and it involves mechs and the insane people who pilot them, so you should definitely try out Lancer with your group, especially if you like robot media in general.
