It's rare I get to do fanart... but since it's the first day of spring break and I've been playing some Pokemon, I decided to spoil myself and spend a few hours on it~
Now to get my apartment perfectly clean before I'm whisked away tomorrow morning, haha.
I PICKED OSHAWOTT, as you can probably tell. He looks like an awful clown-penguin in the game, but I tried making him cuter here. :B

Also, black isn't really natural skin color, but tan/brown is... which would probably lead to even more offense than drow-black.

And I know right? At least the evolved forms are decent-looking, but it's definitely the ugly one out when you compare it with the other starters. :B Some of the memes and fanart addressing Oshawott are pretty funny, though.

Seems like there are a lot more uglyass pokemon in this gen. I'm not playing it but I looked through an online pokedex and all I have to say is... A goth lolita and an icecream pokemon. WTF Japan.

In all seriousness though, it's a great piece. Oshawott is a little more tolerable in the TV show in my opinion, but yeah I saw him as this horrible clown thing too and couldn't take him seriously. Granted from what I've seen his evolved forms are better.
Thank you! Yeah, the evolved forms work out a bit better for Oshawott. Haven't seen the show quite yet... but knowing me, I'll watch it when school starts up again. Early morning cartoons with breakfast FTW.
