An annoyed stallion grows increasingly frustrated with his roommate's antics when all he wants is a little personal space.

A Partner's Annoyance

All Rockii asked for is just a nap and so, the stallion is lying in bed with his eyes closed. However, his rest is suddenly and rudely interrupted by a light smacking sensation against his face. The culprit? A deer dog, and his name is Peppermint!

"Come on, Rockii! Play with me!" Peppermint is in an itching mood to play with Rockii, trying to goad the horse into staying awake. Unfortunately, the repeated taps to the face irritate the stallion. Rockii snorts in annoyance, "Just let me sleep! I'm not up for games, Pepper!"

Pepper whines, "Please?? We never get a chance to play together!"

"Let me sleep, dammit! Can't I ever get a moment's peace and rest in here!?" Rockii's complaining is growing more and more annoyed. Wisely, Peppermint backs off, not wanting to aggravate the horse any further.

While retreating, Peppermint laments, "He almost never wants to play with me! Never! What am I going to do to have him play with me?"

While Peppermint tries to come up with a plan, his roommate, Rockii, is already fast asleep. Finally, the dog remembers something he's kept in his closet, so he backtracks to get it.

While Rockii is asleep, Peppermint comes out of his personal room playing with a red tennis ball. He bounces a few times to himself and then tosses it gently at the sleeping stallion to wake him up. The tactic works… to an extent.

Rockii is asleep with his back turned when the red ball bounces off of him. Bouncing harmlessly off his back, the ball ricochets off the bedroom window and bounces on the bed again, rolling to a stop on the bedroom floor.

Despite snapping awake from the bouncing ball, Rockii covers himself up again where he snorts indignantly, "Pepper, leave me alone! Let me sleep!"

Any hopes of Pepper playing with Rockii are dashed. Disappointed, the dog retrieves his ball and leaves the room to play by himself. Not wanting to disturb Rockii any longer, Peppermint keeps to himself and begins to play in another room to entertain himself.

Since Rockii is left all alone now, he can finally get the peace and quiet he wanted. But that doesn't mean his roommate will feel the same way. When Rockii wakes up, he'll be dealing with an incensed and disappointed Peppermint later on. Be sure of it.
