Well something different from hot rods and stuff. I don't know what this little guy's name is he just appeared in one of my dreams. It was a bit of a mood piece in which I was just a phantom camera man following group of grade school mice and rats on a field trip to the zoo.

Now for much of their history mice and rats have not been big fans of wildlife and the great outdoors. That is somewhat understandable since if you are only eight inches tall it is a lot easier to end up at the low end of the food chain. Still in more modern times and with the easy access to television, film, and the web there has been an increased interest amongst mice and rats for the great outdoors.

Of course zoos and wildlife parks have started to tap into this new market. At this zoo they had an enclosed secured area where mice and rats can stroll through an aviary-like structure and interact with various birds, insects, and invertebrates. Of course they chose ones that were pretty benign in nature. Still for many mice and rats it is still rather exciting! He seems to be having a great time.
