Chapter 19 - The Trip Home

Flopsy tries to patrol Denver, but that doesn't work out well. Oh dear. Welp, time to head back home, with the convention cancelled. For some reason, they didn't want to keep it going with a giant hole in the roof and rubble everywhere. I mean, what, do they think a super-powerful rabbit-horse creature might show up and wreck things TWICE? What are the odds?
Tsarina joins the party! Abilities: Sea Demoness Form, Being Super Adorkable. Strength is decently high, but Dexterity/Agility could use some work. Probably still pretty low level, might need some grinding to catch up to Flopsy. But really, she's pretty far forward. I mean, Ben only recently got his first fire spell, and Zach still has a Wooden Sword.
Of course, they've got a literal Deity hanging around them and they don't even know it. (Sorry, is that a spoiler? ^_~ ) And we've got a new hire at Sparkle Of Your Eye!

wait hold on a deity???? and whats this about darrins girlfriend bein a nosewiggler???? is samantha somone i forgot about? now im confused.......
im secretly hopin zach gets hit by a miscast spell & turns into a animal or somthin..... he DID once say "this human form is so tedious" or somthin like that!!!!! remember??? when flopsy first met him???

Samantha and Darrin were the couple in the old 60's sitcom "Bewitched". In the show, Samantha was a powerful witch who used magic by wiggling her nose. The names amused me, and the tag was a joke about the show and the idea of her facing off against a hoofbun in a nosewiggle contest. ^.^
Hm, did I say a deity? I'm sure it's not important. Anyway, Darrin's a pretty nice, straightforward kid, and we'll get to see more of him in later chapters. ^.~

I saw a few episodes, but it was so long ago, I barely remember any of it. Had a similar style to "I Dream of Jeannie", with "Normal everyman gets magic girl, wacky stuff happens!" I guess it's a darkly amusing observation that the game treats "Genie bound to serve a Master" and "Wife" as roughly the same... ^_^;;
Of course, in the show, Darrin was the long-suffering office worker, all straight-laced and boring. Getting flustered as magic shenanigans threw his life into chaos. As for how that's gonna be different, well, I guess we'll see when we get to meet more of the pair. (I didn't expect "Wicca Cowgirl" to work so well, but surprisingly, it kinda does! ^_^;; )
