Dr. Crossborder - a field researcher and xenobiologist. He works at one of the Scientific Outposts and is known for his tireless field and contract work. He has conducted expeditions to distant planets, monitors populations, and describes new species of creatures, avoiding any "cabinet" work, no matter how easy life is on the station. Crossborder does not share information about his past, but everything in him shows a man who is extremely distant from the accepted norm of inter-species society. He is xenophobic, but he has to live among xenos; live in a world in which mankind has almost completely died out.

Personality: Phlegmatic, stoic and slow to act. Observant and always focused on the practical outcome. Self-critical. Grumbling and has an acidic and specific sense of humor. He has "special" views on some aspects of life. He is a reliable friend and partner and always strives to ensure safety for himself, his activities and his environment.
