"Good day, everyone! Wonderful weather we're having, hm? Please let me know how I may be of service to you!"

As if appropriate for summer, I have a new character to share with everyone, in the body of a species I had been meaning to draw for years now! This is Flint, a Fire Bro and Mac's cousin, servant/butler at the prestigious Kūle'a Resort on the Aunova island territory of Kū'oko'a. If you look close enough, you can see the flag design on the edge of his shirt! Maybe I should share more flag designs one day...

Flint was enlisted in the army alongside his twin brother Jack, utilizing the Aunov's well-known Koopa Division, meant to replicate the efficiency and training prowess of the Royal Koopa Army. While Aunov's army is not capable of delivering the same resources for training as Bowser's army can deliver, it allows Koopas from all over Ioa to further their skills in specific areas. In Flint's case, it was honing his fire powers, and he became a Fire Bro.

During a mission to Kū'oko'a, he began to fall in love with the tropical weather and aesthetic, usually helping the locals with whatever they needed. The island nation of Kū'oko'a, meaning "freedom" in Hawaiian, is a territory of Aunov, much like Guam or Puerto Rico is to the United States. The weather is almost always beautiful there, constantly sunny, the bluest of waters on the beach, the comfortable breeze to keep things from getting too hot. It's often a tourist destination, and it's not usually so busy or worrisome, so Flint found himself helping locals more than he was with his squad. This led him to discharge from the army and live full-time there, eventually applying for the island's most famous hotel, Kūle'a, meaning "tranquility."

Flint has an outgoing, charismatic personality and will go to any length to serve you well. He loves to chat and get to know you better so he can serve you as best he can. He's also a Softie, which means that on a beachside resort, he can squish himself into a towel for you to use if you so desire, among other things. It's also perfect for getting to talk to him some more! He speaks fairly eloquently and will always address you as "Mister" or "Miss," often doing things for you without asking. It's part of why he loves his job so much, it brings Flint joy to see others happy or pleased with him. However, because he comes across so many people on a daily, he doesn't really have any friends to call his own, outside of his coworkers or neighbors, when he thinks mostly of his job, which can be surprising given how extroverted he can be. Because he's a Softie, he's also in a Kū'oko'an business firm known as Maika'i Ioa, meaning "kindness abroad." This means that if Flint or anyone else that works in the service business on Kū'oko'a find themselves squished or transformed in a way that it accidentally takes them home with their guest, that they continue to serve them well as if they were still back on the island nation, usually with the premise of returning home, which the firm can provide.
