"Hey Kay! Your phone's ringing in here, you want me to get it?"

Just another day for our lovable neighborhood Doughshi, finding himself nicely stuffed in the pocket of his longtime friend Kay. That's the benefit of being a Softie, as Kay has known most of his life, you can literally squish a friend into a pocket and take them with you wherever you go! Loneliness will never be a problem ever again!

Realistically though, this was a drawing made by [a very close friend of mine] (who did give me permission to share this), sharing a story of how his phone made Yoshi noises while he was at work. He said it startled his coworkers, and I'd imagine him a little bit because of how sudden it was, but it was the inspiration that created this! Originally, I believe he said it was going to be a generic Yoshi popping out of the pocket, but decided to make it me, which I was so onboard for given the circumstances. Probably one of my favorite pieces from him, the premise is just so fitting!
