I dunno if you've ever been in any near-death situations, but it's actually pretty common to hyperfixate on normal/mundane things very shortly afterwards as a coping mechanism. This was my way of trying to illustrate her being kind of dazed and confused and trying to cling to whatever sense of normalcy she can because she has no fucking clue what's going on.

i have, what you were trying to do is a set of complected emotions. you did your self a disservice by treating this as just another set of pages instead of going in on it and focusing on all the things you explained to me. hyper fixated on normal/mundane things, dazed and confused, cling to whatever sense of normalcy can you say that all of those things are made clear
