I'm glad to know that someone is interested in watching collabs) which i draw together with guys from VK, which is unknown to many here.

But i was drawing with thought that her grin and eyes were pretty crazy, haha.
In this fandom i will show 2 more collabs. There is also third, animated collab. I'm currently in process of drawing short frame-by-frame animation for it.

It is nice to know there are these self-sufficient artist clubs existing in between the largest art aggregating blobs like FA and dA, and they have their own culture and their own events! Looking forward to seeing those other collaborations!
I apologize if my seeing of your character insulted your authorial intent -- I agree that there is ambiguity in Ocelotka's tense grin, and that vagueness in itself could be seen as a sign of instability, but I was going with her apologetic eyebrows and folded-back ears. If her intent was more sinister, I'd imagine that her eyebrows would be excited or menacing, as most of the other charcters in the picture display. The alternating lighting also plays tricks on how some expressions here can be read.

Yes, there are huge number of artists on VK, most of them russian. They draw according to fandoms, for themselves, to commission, and sit in chat rooms. Outraged by VK updates) In short, they do everything the same.

Thank you! And yes, I can see your intent for the expression, especially now that I have noticed the individual submission for your character in this collaboration! It is a very unusual and subtle expression to convey crazed sinister menace with, and it was admirable of you to go for the more challenging expression!

The state of the economy isn't the worst thing that is happening right now, but yes, with PayPal and Patreon getting cut off, Russian freelance artists have suffered greatly. Many must have given up on their creative dreams entirely, seeking a steadier source of income instead.
Which makes it all the more inspiring to see that how many people have kept going.

Yes it is. Very large part switched to something else. But i continue to draw for myself or take commissions.
Of course, i take commissions much less often now, but this is due to fact that i spend a lot of time studying UX/UI design and looking for work now. I have already looked at hundreds of vacancies, but competition is very high. But still i continue to improve my resume, portfolio and cover letters.
I studied course for year and half, and i also had internship for 3 months c:

You seem to be well on your way to becoming a valuable and well-paid creator, the way you've been pushing yourself! That is in addition to your exceptional drawing skills and a pleasant, memorable style!
