"My Great-Grandmother forged this planet with every bit of power she had. Everyone who lives here has a bit of her life in them. She was taken from us far too soon, and yet her beauty spans this landscape in every direction. With the power of Ioa, the role I hold as King of Aunov, the people will always be protected. Just as she would've done."

Sometime last year, I did a sketch for a character I have yet to show off yet. At this point, I may end up redoing the drawing altogether. But some time later, I had the idea to instead use parts of that drawing to make something new. For a long while, I had wanted to draw something featuring Kye's Halo form, something dynamic and powerful, a little intimidating and serious. And this came to mind. I'm still not the greatest when it comes to poses but I felt like I did pretty good drawing this.

For anyone unfamiliar with this form:
Kye utilizes the power of the Aurora Lights primarily, the power source of his home planet Ioa, to transform into a super state that you might draw immediate comparisons to a certain hedgehog or Saiyan and transforms into Halo Kye. The individual Aurora Lights control and maintain some aspect of Ioa, so in theory, Kye can hold onto his Halo form indefinitely, but he slowly drains the resources of Ioa, which would revert it back to the barren rock state it originally was in. As such, this form is barely seen as Kye cannot maintain it for long, but when it is, he is given extreme speed, super strength, flight, heightened senses and enhanced magic powers, greater than anything he had normally.
This is a rare sight to see, but one that comes in the most dire of situations. Let's hope he and his friends are capable of keeping peace in a non-aggressive manner, and that this form isn't needed often.
