Many rulers claim that their right to rule comes from the divine. A lot of the time, that is not an issue, but not many think about what would happen if they do a poor job of ruling. The would reflect poorly on the divinity they claim to represent.
In this case, Ilisha was not about to tolerate such horrible mismanagement being down in her name. So, she decided to deal with the old nobility and royalty in her own way while appointing someone else to run things. This is also a lesson in what will happen to him if he screws up too badly.

That artist does balls of micros well. It's also rare to see Ilisha appear to someone at a comprehensible size if they aren't already some sort of divine tier being, but that just makes it more interesting because it shows her motivation without having to directly spell it out.
She wants to give these guys the personal treatment even if that's a horrid treatment for for them and that in turn shows that she's more than just a typical destructive God macro.
