Well, no better way to learn landscapes/backgrounds than a trial by fire haha.
I think the hardest challenge I have with backgrounds is letting go of detail, it's really hard for me not to go in and at least attempt to draw a whole bunch of sticks and leaves that aren't really needed x.x
