Finally done... the colored version of the back cover for our (eventually) :P upcoming artbook. We'll also be resizing this and selling prints at the Stumptown Comics Fest in Portland in a few weeks. :)
At 14"x17" This is the largest picture that Magic Clam has ever colored and the largest that I've drawn recently. We had a lot of fun planning this one out, and it was a lot of hard work.
Hope you enjoy!

This is an unbelievably beautiful and detailed image. You've created a very vast and open wilderness, with a lot of great variety in the trees and plant life. One of the coolest parts is the subtle emphasis you put on the insects. The bugs on her dress, the nearby snails, and the cute bug in her hand adds to the 'natural' and benevolent feel. The image has almost druid-like feel, but the character doesn't look like the typical druid, she looks much more extravagant, but still magical and friendly. An absolutely brilliant piece!
