Maybe game is questionable but its cruelty and grim atmosphere is far more superior than in further games of series. Some mechanics was annoying but it force you to think and prematurely planning, and prepare, all your actions.

Far Cry 2 is my second favourite entry in the series after the first game despite being very different from each other. I loved the African setting and grim nature of the events in the game, even if some of the mechanics were a bit of an arse (the near constant attacks by the shoot-on-sight mercenaries being one of them).
