Which means he wouldn't let me see a picture of his scalesona drawings til I'd made a start on this. All things considered it's not that far off, the colors are inverted (he's actually [url=http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3076899/]green with yellow/gold[/ulr]) but for some reason this is more how I see him.
I forgot the shoulder scales (like what's on his nose but on his shoulders like epaulettes) which you can see in the #. But it doesn't matter.
And I couldn't get the scales any shinier, I'll need to figure out a way to represent -gold- more then yellow, it's not as easy to draw metallic as one would think.
All things considered (including the actual 16.1MB fullsize file o.<) I actually really, really, REALLY love the way this turned out. The background was actually the easiest thing, but it sets off the whole image as much as the smoke in the back of Kyte's Image did. Only I don't think Drass set a city on fire. He's probably on the other side from Kyte wondering WTF? Lol.
