An abyssfighter from the island country of Ubiamah, who abandoned his mission and betrayed his people. When the Abyss consumed, one by one, all of his family members (including his newborn daughter), Jamashiras attempted to seek approval from the World Government for a series of extremely hazardous experiments. He was denied the resources he needed for the most important one, because it was deemed dangerous and risky. In theory, it could have harmed hundreds of lives.

He was left with nothing except the hatred and fury of a father and husband, who had lost everything and received nothing in return. Except for an opportunity of assistance from those he had always seen as an adversary. The Lord of Gasopolis, Xenagaron, unexpectedly went to his aid. He proposed that Jamashiras will serve the Abyss. In exchange, Xenagaron pledged to personally request that Jamashiras' family be saved. Given the Abyss's dominance on all fronts, this was a strong incentive for the eastern dragon.

The Abyss has instilled a ferocious independence as well as a profound sense of jealousy in Jamashiras. He despises everyone who has parted ways with him. Especially those who, unlike him, have living family or acquaintances.

But despite betraying the World Government, Jamashiras remains linked to several characters.

* It was Jamashiras who was in charge of filling and blowing up the Annerheim nest after the whole clan's tragic demise. But, sensing a glimmer of life deep below the ocean of pseudo-flesh, he plunged in and got out a single dragon egg. That egg held the last remaining shadow dragon. That is how Ephraim was spared from imminent death and given a second shot at life.

* He is linked to Juntar (Kayneffa's father) and to Kayneffa herself. In fact, he's something of a "godfather" to her. He taught her the basic principles of abyssfighting. And he was the father figure she needed in her most trying times.

His alias, the Dark Diver, comes from his unique technique of "diving" into the Abyss and retrieving living beings.
This was achieved by his distinct personal control over Abyss. By fully managing the element of water inside him, he would take on the form of a moving wave. Following that, he would guard himself using Managal Mealopha's protective skills and, if required, the Holy Path of Sinlura.
This technique was mirrored in the new power bestowed upon him by the Abyss. He may seep practically anywhere in the form of a water bubbles cluster. After that, the bubbles can "pop back" into his sperate living body parts. For example, he can separate his eyeballs or his claws from his body, creating a personal bubble for his body parts.
