Smaugust Day 4: Drowned [ 2023 ]

This is Lorelein, a Water/Normal Legendary Fakemon. It is the Sleepsea Aeon Pokemon, part of a series of nine legendaries known as Aeons. Lorelein sees using the gem eye on her stomach, with the eyes on her head permanently closed. Even on land, her hair behaves as though underwater, constantly billowing and flowing. This is due to the constant song she sings - a song which immediately induces slumber and dreams in all who hear it.

I'm not 100% pleased with this or most of my previous Smaugust art, as they are experiments with coloring/outlining styles. So once I become more consistent, I plan on drawing official art for her.

[Yes, I know, this doesn't quite look like what you might think of as a dragon. I think it has sufficiently draconic traits, and it'd be boring for me to spend a month drawing overgrown lizards all the time.]
