Hadon, Archduke of The Depths reference (by hornydarkwitch)
Hadon is the most welcoming to mortals of all Olgohjørd's aristocracy. He generally prefers discussion over confrontation. His diplomatic strategies, on the other hand, are far from harmless.
No creature in Olgohjørd is more skilled at art of deception than this Great One. Being a great deceiver, Hadon enjoys forming power pacts with mortals. These malevolent pacts reveal concealed Abyssal powers to their users, such as forgotten enchantments paths or forbidden knowledge of The Depths.
Those who come into contact with Hadon's touch experience extreme pain and paralysis. Hadon also stings the fool who ventured to form a dark pact with the Great One. Hadon's new servant, however, is not tormented by the poison at first. But only until he dares to defy the Great One. Following that, the poison will kill the traitor wherever they are.
Hadon also enjoys changing identities. Unlike other Great Ones, Hadon absorbs their victims' memory and personality, rather than their strength and abilities. With luck, the Great One can reveal the deepest mysteries of living creatures. For example, if he absorbs a member of an enemy faction's royal court or one of the great adventurers.
