Why?
I've been feeling this way for six months now, yet I've been holding back from writing a post like this.....
It seems like I'm completely confused and don't know what to do next.
I produce a lot of YCHs on different subjects, I've asked what YCHs would be interesting, my orders are always open. I'm trying to paint even better than I was. I try to put different prices.
But every month the orders are getting smaller and smaller. A lot of slots remain unsold. I draw less and less. My earnings have dropped a lot (and also various commissions. Let's say if you pay me 70$, I will receive only 50$).
Why? What am I doing wrong? Am I losing touch with my audience? What specifically do you like/dislike/want?

I don't think its your fault hun, the economy is so bad in many places around the world, I myself would love to buy art from you but here in the UK where I live the cost of living has reached catastrophic levels. I honestly just think a lot of people are facing the same problems and money is very tight :(
i dont really think you are doing anything wrong but i can only speak for myself. i love all the art you have made and its a amazing style. everyone one of your YCH's tempts me but i dont have the money to get them. if i did im sure i would buy more. i wish i could offer you better help but dont be sad. your art makes me and others happy. you are one of the my favorite artists.

i love the art . as its been said , things have been a bit rough for many artists ..
i am among those who Really want to buy more of your art and i really mean it . i just cant afford it right now.
i have even had ideas i wanted to discuss for custom pieces but sadly i dont have the funds to spare , at least for now i hope things get better for you soon . the financial burnout has killed off some amazing artist before , i just don't want to see that happen to you too.
There is also alot of stress from the AI art crud these days as well.
i will say on some ychs that have interacting characters. Personally, i don't necessarily want my character having playtime with other characters i don't know . but that's just me at least
on another note where all do you post your art ? maybe ,like blackwolf mentioned, a special channel in telegram or something too
all in all , try not to let it stress you out too much , things are hard for alot of us , i just hope we all can bounce back soon

For me, it's a combination of funds being tight and worrying about if I'd be able to pay an artist that normally uses Boosty (no point in showing interest if I can't be sure the payment will go through). And while yes, you found a workaround for me last time, that was a while ago and I can't be sure it's still there. And no, Easystart is a nonstarter, too

i mainly agree with what has been said. your art is nice and it can't be your fault.
first,you work in a very competitive place, and then, yeah, world economy going right into the fire, alas people are starting to have the choice to either survive or just finish the month eating pasta when they still can...

Понимаю и сочувствую. К большому сожалению, мы все находимся в непростой ситуации - что заказчики, что художники. Ни для кого не секрет, виновности политоты, из-за которой вынуждены страдать обычные люди. Стараешься, крутишься белкой в колесе, а потом ловишь удар по и без того худым карманам от высоких налогов, высоких процентов комиссий за пользование платежными системами, комиссий за банковские переводы и остаешься почти с голой жопкой выполнять ту немногую работу, чтобы хоть как-то удерживаться на плаву. А еще этот дикий рост цен на все...
У меня третий год голова кругом из-за крошечной финансовой составляющей своих карманов, когда порой не можешь обеспечить себя какими-то даже минимальными вещами, не говоря уже о покупке дорогостоящей техники, съема жилья, необходимого медицинского обслуживания себя и питомцев, путешествий даже в соседние города, развлечений и тд. Это все очень тяжело, успокаивает лишь мысль, что есть те, кому в разы хуже...
Иногда, создавая тот или иной юч, либо составляя прайсы, ловишь себя на мысли о слишком высоких ценниках за свой скилл, испытываешь неловкость, но просто не можешь поступить иначе, понимая, что на выходе тебе на жизнь останутся слёзки. Мне жаль заказчиков, вынужденных отдавать достаточно много за не совсем качественный порой арт, мне жаль себя и нас всех, уставших от работы и находящихся длительное время без отдыха физического и ментального, генерирования всевозможных идей, давления от всех и вся и тд., но мы мало что можем поделать, остается только держаться за доброту, понимание и поддержку всех небезразличных к нам.
