Born and raised in Paldea, Vuis was mostly raised and cared for primarily (And perhaps only) by his father, as Vuis has no memories or inherent memory of who his mother was. This is mostly due to the fact Vuis' father was a bit of a...'ladies' man' and a 'player'. Still, despite that, Vuis always looked up to his father and heavily respected him for being a good man and a good father...even if Vuis might've been 'an accident' at worst.
Some time in his adult years, Vuis was hired and trained alongside other eleven individuals to lead an expedition into Area Zero to study, observe, and document the local fauna and survey the land itself. Trained and educated to fit a leadership roll by a Glaceon named Jalid (Whom funded most of the expedition expenses), Vuis was assigned as leader of the expedition group. However, no amount of training or preparation could prepare Vuis or his group for the dangerous and feral Pokemon of the ancient past and distant future that populated the crater. Out of a dozen trained individuals, Vuis was the only one to escape alive, beaten and battered from his nearly-life threatening injuries. He was carried to safety via an air cab, piloted by his soon-to-be friend, Straal.
As a result of his injuries, Vuis was forced to wear a leg brace on his left leg, as his ligaments and muscles never truly recovered. Without this brace, he struggles to walk and keep his balance. Due to his limitation (and clunkiness of his brace), Vuis was unable to get a stable job anywhere, and resorted to 'selling' information to individuals who visited Paldea.
Additional Facts:
-Vuis used to have a Midnight Lycanroc girlfriend prior to his trip into Area Zero. Due to his limp, she viewed him as a liability, and left him, claiming he was 'too weak' and 'needed a man who can lead the pack, not slow it down'.
-Vuis has a very precise and drilled 'jab-like' fighting style. He plays defensively, only acting and attacking when he can land a swift blow to exposed vitals and weak points.
-Vuis is terrified of ghost types.
-Vuis' blood type is B-
