Marronians are a race of alien who live on a very volcanic planet, ash and smoke always in he sky, making the sky turn a deep dark crimson during the day, and pitch black in the night, To combat the amount of smoke in the sky their lungs are specially built for filtering out harmful matter, they are also amphibious and can breathe underwater.
The only place where the smoke and ash do not block the sky is near the the ocean.

They tend to wear brightly colored clothing with black patterns as their traditional garb, their home is rich in dye materials.
They are essentially leech people, and can suck blood with their fangs, they also primarily eat meat, they also eat fruits though much less so, their limbs also tend to differ wildly, some do not have arms, extra arms, or some might have wings instead of arms, might have a snake tail or a taur body.

Their accent is most comparable to a Spanish accent.

Quick edit: I also should mention, They have demon ancestry, which is where the yellow eyes and horns come from.
Though it is possible to see Marronians without horns.

And an edit from the future: they also produce toxins from sucking blood! Don't know how I forgot to mention that, and this happens mostly in organs found in their tail, and excreted out th sharp tip like a scorpion!
