I think this is where my own fascination with vore started, tbh. Though, it was well over a decade before I properly learned about vore on the internet and at the time didn't have the connections endo have for me today. But it is still a surprisingly fond memory for me.

In real life, crocodiles often cool off by holding their jaws open as they rest on the river banks. I was still in school when I had the opportunity to look from a bridge down the throat of one such a crocodile. I vividly remember thinking at the time that it looked soft inside its maw and imagining that it may actually feel great to lie on that tongue. I guess it is more an early form of maw-play, but I've had a fascination with tongues and maws ever since.

Crocodiles aren't where it started for me, but I always found their maws and gullets incredibly hot to look at.
Always imagined how it must feel to lie in there, too ;)

Also while I do a lot of Vore, I'm way more into general mawplay than into the swallowing. I like both, don't get me wrong, but the maw and the tounge are the best part about Vore for me :D

There is nothing wrong with liking both. Nor with preferring maw-play to full vore. I myself had also progressed to exploring deeper into a body only a few years ago, and I still prefer to know I have a safe way out in the end :-P

But I agree the best part is simply being pressed up against the soft, moist parts of a creature.

Feral Crocs are SUCH amazing preds! As someone who very much would be okay with ending up inside a croc’s stomach, I just say thank you for this fantastic artwork. The angle is perfect!
