I know how it is to have your character drawn and have the main trait that makes her different be messed up D: It's not fun, especially if you are paying for the art.
As for my character I am a simple black wolf with blue eyes (generic right?) well the one thing that makes her different from all other black wolves is her tail. It is "really" short. Like 1/3 the length of a normal wolf's tail but people can't seem to get that and so she ends up looking like all other black wolves with blue eyes.
Anyways I'm done ranting or whatever lol I really like her expressions, especially the tongue sticking out one :P

Yeah, im that person who works on details perfectly (on fanart) and if i dont know something then i ask. Ofcourse i do mistakes sometimes, im not perfect ;P
Well, such details sometimes depends on someones style, technique and how ref is drawn or how someone is drawing it (skill). Some are more or less visible for eye ^^"
But at my chars head is IS visible that she has flat nose, yet ppl draw her different lol. Naah, in some part it was rand but usually they are muuuch longer XD

Yea, I try to get every single detail correct when doing art for others.
Sometimes when I get Sheba drawn and I tell them about her tail they do the absolute opposite. I have received drawings where her tail is so long that it curls around her body and I'm just like D:
