Revamp-tober Day 7: Imaginary Friend
For October I'm challenging myself to take an old OC who needs a redesign or just some attention and giving them a fresh new look! See the full prompt list here!
Day 7: Imaginary Friend
I had two really notable instances of imaginary friends as a kid. The first was Manklin (on the right) who was my "imaginary big brother." I'm an only child so I made up my own sibling lol. We went to the same school, he didn't talk all that much that I remember, but he'd hang out with me on the playground when I didn't feel like playing the same games as my school friends.
Then there's angel (on the left) who was totally not just my OC Yuji again except now he's a winged lion thing who lived in my bedroom closet. I mostly remember him keeping an eye on me from a distance and keeping monsters out of my closet at night. I even had a cleared out spot on the floor of my closet where I piled up extra blankets and pillows for him lol.
I never drew either of my imaginary friends before to my knowledge, but it was really fun to get to illustrate how I always pictured them! c:
