The First Martians
The Nekuomimi are an odd species that seem as cool as the frigid temperature of their red homeworld. Standing at a minimal height of 7 feet as average for their race, they are tall and slender in appearance with a noticeable, and unnaturally, pallid tone to their skins and facial features often giving a stoic and cold emotional feel at first meeting from their kind. Physically, they appearance very similar to the humans of Earth as they share the same bipedal humanoid structure with a lack of ears and instead supplemented by feline ears upon their heads. They display the addition of a long feline tail and antennas which is inferred to be another form of communication among their species. The Nekuomimi have been noted as having particularly cool body temperatures and are rather resilient to colder temperatures while being more bothered by warmer environments.
The Nekuomimi, often called the Nekuo, Mimi, or Neku informally, are the central majority populace within the Empire and take charge as the both the leaders and soldiers of Martian regime. They are the technical brained and tactical minds with importance placed on the sciences, technology, and military forms of education for the sake of further expanding the Empire. These three often held so high that it comes almost religious to those viewing from the outside of the Empire. Many of those to be placed in the Nekuomimi Military going through the rigorous Cadet Academy at a very young age if not outright born into military. For the Nekuomimi, the Empire and their survival is often the utmost of importance on their minds.
The Nekuomimi are often regarded as a rather regimental species. As Earthlings may say, they are rather 'uptight' as they put forward the Empire before themselves. They see as needing to fulfil their duties much more important before taking time to enjoy what they may like as entertainment or relaxation. The Nekuomimi seem to be untrusting of other species and view them as possible threats towards their Empire and often will respond more hostilely than welcoming to the appearance of beings outside their system. It may stem from their paranoia but also possibly even seeing them less favorably than themselves. The Nekuomimi own view of themselves paradoxical with them viewing themselves important compared to some other species, however expendable when possibly necesary for the benefit of the Empire. Though this contempt seems to not be shared strongly towards [most] of the humans of Earth even if it may be inferred it is due to needing them for their survival.
As it stands thought, the Nekuomimi have established themselves as the top social class within the Martian hierarchy from their conquest of the world fully and claiming it as their own long before the emergence of any other sentient Martian race. Although they share their social circle with the Leonmimi whom they accept as their big sisters and treat as similar to themselves in importance and reverence for their commitment to the Empire and their strength. They are stubborn to accept others can be as great as them but they are without their own flaws despite their view of being without flaws due to their cloning processes..
