Welcome back to another Gun Day Sunday! I like SVDs. They are pretty guns. TIGRs are no exception.

It's such a shame that quality 54R ammo is so hard to get here in the states. The few SVDs and NDM-86s that float around are fed a diet of turd ammo that achieve 2-3MOA at best. These rifles could do so much better but ammo is the bottleneck. Don't get me wrong, there are no Cheytac or KAC, but they are definitely being shafted.
I think Wolf brand sells them, but they're only for order on 3rd party sites, and also its Wolf, who sell all obscure ammo types for expensive prices. I can't speak for their quality because I can't afford them to test it out.
Feel free to correct me on this too, because this more of my vague memory from trying to see what 6.5x39 ammo options there were, and VERY quick research just now.

Wolf, as far as I can remember, does not reach Hornady levels of quality which is basically what 7N1 and 7N14 54R ammo is and what the SVD wants to eat to squeeze as much accuracy out of the system as it can. Even Wolf Gold isn't 7N14 or Hornady levels of quality. But, then again, if you spend less than $0.80 a round and expect Hornady groupings at 500+ yds, you better pray. LOL
