Unlike your more traditional crossbow soldier other nations may employ, Imperial Crossbow soldiers get more bang for their coin. To better combat more magitek savvy enemies, their crossbows nearly have twice the range and are blessed with powerful magic that turn the bolts they fire into pure magic. This allows Imperial Crossbow soldiers to fire powerful bolts capable of punching through magitek armor and thick metal armor.
