but the guy didn't want to put in the money for it, his business is small. I was thinking about making it with 4 to 6 colors, so I could keep the budget really low on paint....I'm thinking I may eventually still do this in my barn and see if I can sell that.
I want some opinions on this, would you want to see it completed?
I haven't estimated the time but if I"m using limited colors I'm guessing it may take around 27 hours if I consider older paintings time to take.

6 colors? As silicon colors?
For such detailed picture like that it will be challenging and most details won't be visible
That's why you see most logos in few solid colors and simplified designs.
If you're going to print it on paper, you can use full colors laser for better results o_O

How big a mural are we talking about here? As for me,I'd probably start on a flat piece of wood. Once you got it sketched out,I'd 3D the outer edge sand worm "frame" and all the stuff that's over it. So the Nerconomicon,the toilet baby,and all the fingers as well as the sand worm. That should make for a really nice piece.
As for money,I'd consider renting it out instead of selling it with a small sign telling people who made it and how to contact you. If someone wants one of their own,they can commission it.
