Backstory:
- Hails from the little town of Cresta Soleada in northern Mexico where he lived alongside his younger brother and mother.
- His town was attacked by American raiders who ravaged his homeland and then killed and assaulted his people.
- Watched his mother be raped, and brutally murdered in front of him while he and his brother could do nothing to save her.
- He and his brother were taken captive along with a handful of other people from the town.
- As they were dragged away from their home in chains, Harper’s brother was beaten nearly to death in front of him and left for dead in the desert.
- Harper was taken to America as a slave and auctioned onto the black market as trafficking fodder.
- He ended up causing an uprising along with the remaining Latino slaves, killing their captors and fleeing up north.
- From there Harper vowed revenge on the people who took so much from him, becoming one of the most feared and powerful outlaws of the north as he tore through the country state by state.
- After a run-in with Deadeye and his gang, Harper was presumed dead after being shot in the head by William himself.
- His body was flushed down a river, but to his surprise he managed to survive

- Harper is cocky and arrogant, to a fault. He thinks he’s the biggest, baddest guy around (which he usually is)
- Has a bit of a soft side, especially when it comes to his lover Claude, who he’s madly in love with
- Loves coffee, hunting, and fishing as they remind him of home
- Is very proud of his Hispanic heritage
- Fluent in English and Spanish, although he tends to slip into his native tongue from time to time.
- Is suffering from brain damage due to metal poisoning caused by the bullet that still is inside of his skull.
- Because of this, his memory is being heavily effected. He grows very irritated when he struggles to recall things that he knows he should remember.
