huh, so Ariel, Jupiter, Hawke, and Jake are "immune" to V-Rushes mind control kiss. So i guess that would mean that Moon is under Rushes control along with swoop now.

Considering they’re magic users well Jake if his process of Ranmafication to be counted and Hawke got the same. That means my oc would be immune too.

Swoop yes, Moon I'm not so sure. If Jupiter can't be mind controlled even with her powers diminished, then it's likely that Moon would also be immune, since she still is a Magic User. I'm wondering if she snuck away before all this craziness started? Knowing Moon, she probably did to try and sneak peaks at the girls in "Rush's" army.
But as a counter point, since Moon's powers were taken away and placed within the jewel, the same one Rush is still wearing, this may be an exception to that. Which means she may be capable of being mind controlled, at least in this way, and presently is now.

My Guess is, we'll find out in the next few pages. Though I'm betting that Moon is under Rush's control. Not going lie, Rush isn't making it easy for Hawke to talk to her. Let along be in a position to LISTEN to Hawke.

But, from what I've seen in other media with this kind of them, that just makes Hawke more honest with his feelings. When the opportunity pops up, I think Hawke would be to get through to her once she is able to listen for a moment.

Hard to believe it couldn't get easier. Hawke isn't the only 1 between them who needs to be honest with their feelings. Rush did run away from Hawke (though it was a trick), and not just physically. She also wouldn't answer Hawke when he (or she?) asked Rush how she felt about him(?), and she was asked twice. And in between both times, she had thought it would be better for her to confess her feelings, then deal with the details later. But she still stayed dodgy on the subject.

However, it isn't exactly "Rush" at the moment. The spirit possessing her is just running on the negativity that Rush is feeling (once again, the trick). That's what's not making ANY of this easier. Hawke's got to break that first, but not just him (or her) either. Rush has some responsibility in this too.

Oh yeah, I feel like everyone has a part to play in the events that led up to this moment. And it sure as hell doesn't help Hawke out that Rush is pretty much not willing to listen to anyone with the spirit using her negative emotions to control her. And if we are to assume that Hawke can't be mind controlled, then what will Rush do with him/her then? That being said, I think it's possible to reach her.
Mt theory is the spirit is using Rush's Emotions to control her and is not outright controlling everything about her. Otherwise, that would be the spirit talking and not Rush herself. Like 1/4 of the original Rush is still in there, Hawke just needs to find a way to reach her. Though how is up for speculation at this point. To early to figure out what.

Yeah, that's what I meant by Feelings, her Emotions. Now we just wait to see how this plays out.

BTW, it sure is nice that, after a long hiatus of waiting for the comic to continue (with fair and just reasons of course), that there are fans out there still happily curious as to how the story will continue.

Been following the story since 2016, right around the time when updates started to slow down a bit.
That being said in terms of story, I do think Rush is going to get out of this and things go back to normal for her (mind and most likely body) and we can continue on with the adventure. Though I think it would be a bit harder for the crew to trust Rush again for a while. Mind control or not, most of those emotions that are being used against Rush had to have come from somewhere other than the spirit.

TBPH am beyond fed up of evil Rush, someone needs to slap her into next tuesday. Post haste!

PLEASE tell me that Hawke, Jupiter, AND ESPECIALLY ARIEL clear things up with Rush and get her to snap her back to her senses! Especially since it's ALL ARIEL'S FAULT this all happened in the first place!

The worst part about this is that I don't think this was ever addressed ever since it happened. There have been PLENTY of chances for them to just tell Hawke what went down and to say why it was she "turned evil" but literally nothing has been said (If it was do let me know). And honestly I REALLY hope they don't let Rush off the hook considering her "villain" arc is basically throwing the biggest tantrum combined with the worst kind of power trip making her more chaotic stupid even with whatever entity piloting her.

If I recall correctly, after re-reading previous pages, I think its because Rush was trying to confess her feelings to Hawke but kept backing out of telling him herself. Hell Hawke DID out right ask her and she still couldn't be honest with her feelings to him. And looking at her behavior in the past, Rush did look like she had that "Tsundre" personality and let her emotions get the best of her judgments. Though Hawke should have taken the hint, and the others could have told him sooner... all i all, this could have been avoided if everyone was honest with each other.

I would love for them to knock some sense into them all, all of this is way too much like a series of books that got ruined for me cause they turned the main caracters love interest into the main villains top henchman. Turned her into a bloodthirsty brainwashed avatar of destruction for their cause.

Great, so only these 4 characters are the only ones left. Jake and Hawke may simply have not been attempted to be mind controlled, because there may be "other" plans for them both. Moon may still be fine, being a Magic User. But then where is she?! Swoop's under "Rush's" power again, and the other 2 girls they just took with them were already shown to still be under control.

And speaking of them, did anyone else hear what Rush just said? She called her "Vicky," which means she recognizes her.
