Or at least result in a more polygonal form, or one more clearly influenced by the design limitations of the 64-bit era -- the simplified, often exaggerated geometry and limited textures and color palettes were a product of the hardware more than the software, but the aesthetic evoked by the character designs born during that era feel nostalgic to those of us who grew up with that generation of consoles.
