For all I know, that kind of job isn't easy to get. You'd probably need to have a job interview with Odin himself, where you'd have to perform some "special tests", to determine whether you're worthy of being in his service.
( Also, there's a catch to being a Valkyrie: The guy has to be dead before you can pick him up. So at that point it borders on necrophilia. Which may or may not stop you, but... just saying. )

Yeah, it's weird... Sadly I only found out about him when he was already gone. Found his gallery over on dA, looked through some of it and really enjoyed the style and various concepts - Only to find out shortly after that he'll never be able to draw any more of it.
Anyhow, if this brightens up the day for a few fans of his work, then my job is done. Thanks for the feedback!

I see your point - He does kinda have that cliché Fantasy blacksmith look to him. But hey, maybe he is one, even without the apron. That also has the advantage that we get to stare at that manly chest of his. Win/Win.
( Hmm, now I'm tempted to do a pic of an actual blacksmith sometime, though. )
