The todd in the photograph is the second fox I've "adopted," and the first that I found at Goodwill. I was playing Furcadia at the time and had noticed that a great deal of the furre's had god-like names. When I asked a friend, who was staying with me and my mate, what was a good name, he suggested Zarathustra, When I asked him who that was, he told me he was worshiped by Zoroastrians. I chose the more familiar-sounding name of Zoraster. Year's later, I learned that zoro is Spanish for fox. Zoraster was introduced to the first stuffed animal I bought as an out transperson, Foxy, and, to my surprise, nine months later, the pups, Zoraster Jr. and little Foxie appeared at Goodwill!
