So one of the things I think shows the most about this particular image is the fact that it very much shows just how long I've been working on it. It was a drawing I actually started doing early 2022 and then I'd work on it a bit, then get distracted with other projects and forget about it, then find it again and work on it some more. I have absolutely no idea how long I ended up spending on this drawing in total.
Anyway, the drawing is a team composite of the base forms to the main characters to my Pokemon Usael comic. The basic premise of the comic is that 100 people from the USA during the 80's were transported to an alternate reality which is the island country of Usael. There they were grouped up into 16 teams of 6 and would eventually be filtered out through various challenges until only one team remained. That last team would be tasked to solving an issue that was plaguing the populace. That said, there is absolutely no guarantee that Team 4 (the main characters) would be the ones chosen, as I had set it to have a lot of dice rolls to determine certain effects. And of course a good portion of this is that the characters would transform slowly into pokemon and have them deal with that as well. The point of the comic was mostly just for practice, thus very little regard was to be taken in regards to image quality. It was a point to react quickly and draw quickly over fussing over everything, but also tell a story in comic, unlike Werepix which was text accompanying.
As for the drawing itself, I kind of like it. I feel each one does a pretty good job of showing their character, though as stated before I don't know how much i can gauge this against other drawings as it was done over the span of a year and a half. ah well.
