This is a character concept im woking on, I my need to introduce more homeless characters in the future. The backgorund carrot is actualy a grafitti from my town, and I adore it, it's a big carrot on top of a cimney at a school, itsso deliciously random. An fitting since the name of Melodys city is Carrot City.
I have problems drawing birds, embarrasing since I got a feathersona, but its the beak, its hard to make it expressive, and therefore my brds always end up looking rather introspective and sad, which int bad emotions, but I'd apprechiate some variety.

That IS a pretty cool character! I'd add something to his hair, though. It looks a little bland as it is. I like his clothes.
I agree, it's hard to draw expressions on birds... But all your stuff has something of a solemn feeling to them, so it fits nicely with your world. :3

I wanted to avoid dreadlocks since I got another character lined up with dreadlocks, maybe do the thing where the entire hair is braided, though that's prolly mroe feminine (I guess I've moved away from androgynous looking girls to androgynous looking boys, hooray for progress!) I dunno, ill have to play around with it. At this pont, he is supposed to be a hobo, however, in my notes, he appears when living in temporary housing, so he'd definently be able to do something with his hair.
