Alright, let's review:
Steps 1-3 of the plan went flawlessly, but we are hitting a bit of a snag on step 4...
As it turns out, this dragon had a LOT of kobolds. And don't get me wrong, this is making for a fantastic treat! But the problem is that the kobolds got into Drew's supply of potions that he brought for the battle, and now those effects are transferring over to us as we eat them...
Sometimes, it's actually quite helpful! Like the charm potion this kobold clearly had a taste of. But there were plenty of potions that boosted size, strength, mana, healing, and defense that ALL make these kobolds abnormally gut-filling!!
And to make matters worse, it looks like all the kobolds I've been feeding Drew have made him sufficiently heavy to break right through the wooden floor!
I did not even consider accounting for floor weight! I mean, they supported that massive dragon that used to lair here for so long! I thought that certainly we couldn't even come close to breaking them! But it turns out we've eaten quite a lot today... I can only imagine how much Drew weighs!
But unfortunately a hole in the floor could create a serious hole in the plan. Any bit of elevation lost at this weight will prove very difficult to regain. I must work quickly to finish devouring the remaining kobolds so I can turn my attention to Drew, and developing a new escape plan...
