Being a Jedi was a dream.
But despite a great start in the order during the Old Republic, Sascha soon became fed up with the overly strict rules and inflexibility of the order, which often made him clash with his teachers as he became older.
He was trained as a Jedi Guardian, focusing on lightsaber combat and quickly was proficient in dual whielding a pair of lightsabers.
Sascha was brave and he was kind, but he also was sometimes arrogant & rash.
During a conflict the bear hybrid got incredibly frustrated with the Jedi seemingly just sitting there and doing nothing.
When he could not bear it any longer, he and a few other Padawans decided to intervene and mounted a dangerous and sadly, in the end, ill-fated rescue mission.
In the aftermath of the conflict, he stepped forward and decided to take full responsibility.
And while is Masters were impressed with his honesty and courage to take the blame for everybody involved, they still cast him out of the order.
He could reclaim his lightsabers with the help of his old master, who was sympathetic to him and wished his former Padawan only the best for his difficult journey ahead.
Sascha is now traveling the galaxy, helping other in his own way, while still trying to figure his place in life ... and in the Force.

Minettefraise , thank you so very much!
And I love the little addition of a "Sammy-like" little keyring plushie that he could safely take with him all the time, while the real Sammy is kept safe.
Also I should add that this is not the Darksaber, just a very rare Kyber that produces a blade with a black core and a white glow.
It still has the classic shape of a normal lightsaber (as opposed to the Darksaber which has a more sword like blade), but it also has the more aggressive high pitched whine the Darksaber posses, instead of the low hum of a regular lightsaber.

Probably not, but I think the philosophy of having both sides of the force in balance is an intriguing one. There is no light without shadows and dark doesn't automatically mean bad.
And speaking of character, I've read a lot of books and stuff where a dark force could be used to archive something that would be considered good.
And the other way around.
I also like the Dragon Age approach to demons and spirits, where one entity can go either way and back again. Like Justice turning into vengeance, knowledge into pride and similar.
And with my own fursonas (aside from the Littlefur, who is just pure fluff and cuteness), all of them are ... grey.
