YEAH FINIALLY SUBMITTING SOMETHING

So yeah I Felt like drawing stuff for once that was completely finished as of late (even if this is abit older and uses an older tail design not used as much anymore, I touched him up some to be acceptable) and felt it would be rather nice to have an actual simple referance for feral Zedex. Nothing too spiffy but there is two parts to it, which the other I'll upload soon after.

So this is Zedex :3 He's usually fat! if that weren't pretty obvious XD Theres actually quite abit of thought I put into his design and backstory, its abit of a text wall but I thought I'd put the ideas out here.





Zedex is a member of unique species called T'beithians, named after their planet Tbeith, or more commonly Terradains! (some of the info is a wip but I thought it sounded pretty alright thus far)

His kind are very adaptable to their surroundings, resulting in an adaptability as significant as an elemental affinity, and some other variations from crosses between parents and their elements.

Theses main subspecies have different elemental affinities of Fire, water, Wind, Earth, Ice, and electricity. The cross subspecies result in physical appearance changes but not typically the element that is inherited. There are no instances of any member of the species having double elemental profities. While mixed elements result in unique physical advantages and disadvantages based on the chemestry of the two parents. A normally light and weak wind elemental having the strengh, heft, and girth of a earthy elemental would counteract his fraility, but would also drag down his agility. In most causes though, oposite ends don't mix so easily in the genepool.

What makes Zedex unique is he is both gifted and cursed with a more unique mixture inherited from his earthy mother, and electric father! Zedex inherets his mother's effective metabolism, and his father's abundant energy. His mother's genes overrite his father's naturaly quick and energy rich metabolic system, and the end result ends up being all the energy sticking to him in the form of weight that he can't seem to loose. but with a the stocky frame and dense bone structure he also inherited from his mother, his abundant energy fuels him around quickly despite his immense weight.

He inherited his father's Electral element affinity, and by his father's genetics would have been very slender and aerodynamic, but his mother's genes took dominance of his physical appearance. That combined with his mother's 'strict' nurchuring diet resulted in building upon the frame he was born with. Having been taken care of and fed well in his childhood days by his loving but overcaring mother! It gradually erased any chance there was of him being slender and lithe, and established his physical image to be much like that of her own.


In short, earthy types are typically strong, stocky, and heavyset figured with as much girth as they have muscle! This is in part due to their connection to the natural world, and ability to farm the land with a deeper understanding then any of the other subspecies.
Their connection allows for plentiful harvest and adundant nutrients, and usually an overabundance of food that they won't allow to be put to waste ;3

The electric subtypes have a sixth sense for energy immisions, and are able to absorb them straight out of the environment as if they were food. In their bodies all food is energy, and burns up quickly. Their strong point is their ability to constantly draw it from their surroundings. Because of this, it is nearly impossible for one of them to store extra nutrients (body fat) and they rarely have any form of fuel waste.

Zedex inherited the advantages of the matabolic capabilities of both elements, but the end result is a permanant hefty frame! But his bodies tuned to the weight and it does give him plenty of advatages hed usually not have, but with obvious downsides in exchange. More sturdy and weighty and a physical force to be reconed with. But doesnt have the speed he was originally intended for. And his matabolic makup also makes it very difficult for him to actually starve as long as an energy source is available!
