Tarl visits Canterlot to see Luna because he thinks she could use some company.The way that Luna is protrayed by the fanbase always makes me kind of sad. It makes me think she needs a friend, someone to talk to after 1,000 years being imprisoned on the moon for acting like the child she is. This is also the first piece with Tarl's new markings, which I really like a lot. Luna was a bit harder to do, and though she has wings more akin to the filly pegasi in the cartoon, I gave her more Celest-like wings because she is a breed above the rest of them, and thus there should be some sort of aesthetic distinction between them. Tarl's position wasn't easy either. I always hate perspective where I have to make one body part larger to make it look 'right'. It makes him look younger than he is, though it adds to his cuteness. XD

She imprisoned Luna because Luna was jealous of the fact that no ponies enjoyed her beautiful night time. And then, because she did a very childish thing (decided NOT to change the moon to the sun) her sister imprisoned her in the moon for 1,000...all because Luna was jealous that no body liked her night. (and thus she really wouldn't have had a lot of friends, as they were all asleep, etc)
